Music is commanded in scripture and occupies a prominent place in worship. As a part of worship, the Music Ministry of Northminster Presbyterian Church is dedicated to providing quality musical experiences for all members. Through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, voices an instrument are lifted in praise to God.

~ teach basic and proper fundamentals of music and singing to each participant

~ uphold the church’s respected and honored heritage of music while also introducing various styles of music

~ offer a means for the individual to attain an expression of spiritual joy and comfort through music

All of our choirs participate regularly in worship services. We strive to reach out within and beyond our walls to foster and promote the sacred arts.
Choir participation is a religious, creative, educational, and recreational experience which seeks to develop character, discipline, spirituality, and responsibility. Choir participation trains its members in Christian ideals and in churchmanship through its leadership role in worship. Choir develops a sense of community and Christian fellowship through its work and play.
