A day in Rome.  Beautiful weather.  Took the train to the Vatican and wandered through some neighborhoods.  Great day.  last night I worshiped with the Sisters in Italian.  I have a lot to learn.

Luggage arrived this evening.  Computers are slow and crowed so more later.  Also, keyboard is in \Italian so I am struggling!

Glad all is going well.

I'm sure you have lots planned for the vacation after your pilgrimage with the Sisters. Just in case you could squeeze in one more thing....I have heard from a good friend that the Opera House in Cremona has an incredible sound - a mini La Scala. Also at the Town Hall in Cremona there are Strads, Amatis and Guarnaris (sp) suspended from fishing wire in glass cases. It is the job of a very old, little man to play these instruments daily so they maintain their sound. I want that job! You can also see Antonio Stradivari's workshop. Of course, I realize you will have lots planned but just in case you had a free space.
